Q. Can I move my pet myself?
A. The Airline requires that you work with a Pet Transporter as they do not always have the up-to-date information for every foreign country. Also they don’t have the time to spend with each customer – explaining every detail of requirement. Many foreign countries, have specific regulations, we strongly recommend using a pet relocation service as any errors can seriously affect your pets time in quarantine.
Q. What about timing for preparation?
A. Some Countries require blood work 6 months ahead of travel date. Contact a Professional Pet Transporter for the requirements of the country where your pet will be traveling. We are happy to give you the information required...

Q. Is using a pet relocation specialist cheaper?
A. No. A Pet Relocation Agent will charge you a reasonable booking fee. We do so much more than just the booking. We are available to answer all your questions and assist you through every step.
Q. Do you use your own airplanes?
A. No. All pet relocation services use commercial airlines.
At present there is one pet airline, however their coverage is very limited within the USA.
Q. Is it really safe to fly my pet?
A. Yes. Relocating your pet by air is safer and less stressful than a long road trip in the back of a van filled with other animals.
Q. Where in the plane does my pet fly?
A. All pets flown as excess baggage or as live animal cargo, are in the cargo hold of the plane. This area is heated, cooled and pressurized. Your pet will breathe the same air you are breathing when you fly in the cabin.
Q. Should I give my pet a sedative?
A. No, absolutely not. Sedatives suppress the respiratory system of the pets and often cause disorientation. Several airlines will not accept your pet if they are sedated.
Q. What can I do to prepare my pet for travel?
A. Prepare your pet for his upcoming move by making sure he is comfortable with his crate. Start by putting treats in the crate and then progress to leaving your pet in the crate for short periods of time while you are out of the room. This will help your pet know that the crate is a safe place and ensure a comfortable move.
